Review: Sleeping Beauty Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Aurora. She lived in a magnificent castle with her parents, the king and queen. When Aurora was born, the king and queen invited everyone in the kingdom to celebrate. They also invited three good fairies to bless the princess with magical gifts. But there was one person they did not invite: an evil fairy named Maleficent. She became very angry and cast a terrible curse on Aurora. She said that on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep. The king and queen were frightened, so they asked the good fairies to protect Aurora. The fairies took her to live in a small cottage in the forest, where they raised her secretly. On Aurora’s sixteenth birthday, she returned to the castle. While exploring, she found an old spinning wheel. She touched it and accidentally pricked her finger. At once, Aurora fell into a deep sleep. The whole kingdom fell asleep with her
