Review: It took me forever to figure this bag out, haha. Anyway, it can be a knapsack type of bag or a shoulder bag. It is very thin material, so if you put a lot of heavy stuff in it, it might rip. It is nice otherwise. I'm keeping it. It has a couple of pockets inside, too. The outer material is kind of like a windbreaker type material. I will be using it for outdoorsy stuff, like a hike, not an actual purse.
