Review: Consistency is key: Avoid opening the incubator too frequently to keep temperature and humidity stable. Fluctuations can harm the embryos. Still-air vs. forced-air: The temperature needs are different depending on your incubator type. Forced-air incubators need a steady \(37.5\degree C\), while still-air incubators need a slightly higher \(38.3-38.8\degree C\). Turning: Turn the eggs at least 3-5 times daily during the first 18 days to prevent the embryo from sticking to the shell. Stop turning during the lockdown period. Lockdown: During the last three days, do not turn the eggs. Increase the humidity to \(65-70\%\) to help the chick break through the shell.
