Review: I love this yarn, and I’ve bought a lot of it, but…it’s not bamboo. The yarn label says it is 100% wool. That in itself is really no big deal but I’d not crocheted with bamboo yarn before. I should’ve checked the label when the very first order arrived. Having said that I’ll continue to purchase this yarn. Perhaps the manufacturer could re-label to show it is wool and not bamboo. It would also be beneficial to have the amount of yarn and recommended crochet hook and knitting needles sizes on the label as well. I’ve still given 5 stars because it’s a lovely yarn to crochet with. It feels like a 3-4ply and I’m using a 3.00mm crochet hook. I’m not fond of using larger hooks on fine yarn. I plan to make baby shawls with it.
