Coupon Refund Amount Adjustment Rules
The use of SHEIN threshold discount coupons will be adjusted based on the actual order amount. The actual order amount is the original order amount minus the refund amount (i.e., the original amount of the returned items). According to the following policy, your refund amount will be adjusted:
1. If you apply for a refund after using a discount coupon, there are two scenarios:
1) If the actual order amount still meets the original discount threshold of the coupon used, no refund amount adjustment will be made. You will receive a proportional refund of the used coupon amount.
2) If the actual order amount does not meet the original discount threshold of the coupon used, a refund amount adjustment will be made. This may result in a reduced refund amount, or you may not receive any refund at all.
2. When making a refund amount adjustment:
a) For coupons with multiple thresholds, if the actual order amount meets a lower threshold, you only need to repay the difference between the original coupon value and the coupon value corresponding to the actual order amount.
b) If the actual order amount no longer meets any discount threshold, you will not be entitled to any discount and must repay the full value of the original coupon. The used coupon will be returned to your wallet according to the relevant terms.
For example:
Suppose a discount coupon has two thresholds: a 6 TWD discount when the order amount is between 69 TWD and 99 TWD; a 15 TWD discount when the order amount exceeds 99 TWD.
Scenario 1 (No Refund Amount Adjustment):
Original order amount: 120 TWD
Refund amount: 20 TWD
Actual order amount: 100 TWD (i.e., 120 TWD (original amount) minus 20 TWD (refund amount)).
The actual order amount still meets the original coupon threshold of 99 TWD, so no coupon repayment will be required, and no refund amount adjustment will be made. You will receive a full refund of 16.7 TWD (20 TWD (refund amount) minus 3.3 TWD (proportionally refunded coupon amount)).
Scenario 2 (Refund Amount Adjustment I):
Original order amount: 120 TWD
Refund amount: 30 TWD
Actual order amount: 90 TWD (i.e., 120 TWD (original amount) minus 30 TWD (refund amount)).
The actual order amount does not meet the original coupon threshold of 99 TWD, so you cannot enjoy the 15 TWD coupon. However, the actual order amount still meets the 69 TWD threshold, so you can enjoy a 6 TWD coupon, with a difference of 9 TWD. Therefore, we will deduct 9 TWD from your refund amount. Finally, you will receive 21 TWD (i.e., 30 TWD (refund amount) minus 9 TWD (coupon difference)).
Scenario 3 (Refund Amount Adjustment II):
Original order amount: 120 TWD
Refund amount: 70 TWD
Actual order amount: 50 TWD (i.e., 120 TWD (original amount) minus 70 TWD (refund amount)).
The actual order amount does not meet the original coupon threshold of 99 TWD, and the actual order amount also does not meet the 69 TWD threshold, so no coupon can be applied. You must repay the full value of the original coupon (15 TWD). Therefore, we will deduct 15 TWD from your refund amount. Finally, you will receive 55 TWD (i.e., 70 TWD (refund amount) minus 15 TWD (coupon difference)).
